The manufacturer of door entry security systems, for whom Metaplas was already producing boxes, was making mounting brackets for the camera assembly in-house. We offered an alternative mounting in plastic which was readily accepted and put into production immediately.
"Our machine could economically produce perfects every time and this will save the manufacturer money. Repeat business from a delighted client followed."
The box for an air filtration unit had been made in three or four parts and had a propensity to leak. As the filters were used in 'clean rooms' in an animal research establishment, this was unsatisfactory. Metaplas redesigned the box, reducing the number of joints. This also greatly improved the overall appearance - much to our client's delight.

There was a need for plastic pallets for contact lenses during their production process. Our client had been unable to find a suitable material or a manufacturer who could produce enough to meet demands. We came up with a product in polycarbonate which met the specification - and we were able to meet the the production quantities required.
